Happy New Year! I hope everyone is having a good one so far.   I've been busy with vacation the first two weeks in January. I went to Columbus and Chicago, both a good time.  I've been doing work and been trying to get back into the groove after the time off.  It's hard!

Anyway, it is finally cold up here in Boston. Burrrrrrr. It makes it hard to run, but I gotta bundle up and do it anyway. It was 9 degrees this past Friday and I tried to go running, but my eyes got cold.  Today it's a balmy 27 degrees, so it should be fine.  Winter has finally arrived in New England.

I have just finished watching the first season of Battlestar Galactica (I know, I'm behind by a few years).  It kept being called the best show on TV by all the critics, so I finally went to the library to get into the game. There was quite the cliff hanger a the end of season 1, so I'm eagerly waiting in line to get season 2 from the library now.

I have actually seen some movies lately.  Children of Men, The Queen, Babel, An Inconvenient Truth, and Pan's Labyrinth.  They were all good to different extents and are worth your time (see Children of Men and Pan's Labyrinth first, and rent Inconvenient...those are the best of the above films).

So that means I've seen 3 out of the 5 Best Picture nominee's so far (Babel, Departed, The Queen)....still need to see Little Miss Sunshine and Letters From Iwo Jima.   Out of the 3 I've seen, The Departed should win, hands down the most entertaining and best acting I've seen this year.

More pictures coming soon! I have a lot to put up from November.
