Shana and Karen touring Liberty Island

Pictures from May!

Ok, coldest June ever! Seriously the weather here in Boston sucks. The good news on that front is I am getting out of Boston in two short weeks.

That's right, my six year adventure away from Columbus is coming to and end. I'm moving back home on July 1st. I will miss Boston, the mountains, my job, and the people...but not the weather (good riddance on that part). It was a great 3 years in D.C. and another wonderful 3 years in Boston, but I am homesick for Buckeye land. There really is no place like home. I look forward to seeing all the people in Columbus soon!

The next couple of months will be a time of transition and vacation!!!! I'm taking a trip to Europe (Prague, Vienna, Salzburg) at the end of July, and then when I get back I'm going on a long road trip across the U.S.A. for the rest of the summer!!!

Then, come fall, I plan to go to school full time to finish up prerequisites needed to apply to a Psych Nurse Practitioner program. It will be lots of work, but worth it.

Congratulations to Jen and Alex on the birth of their son Aidan! He's a healthy baby boy and I can't wait to meet him. I'm now an aunt, not really officially cause I'm not properly wed, but who cares! I can be the cool non-blood party aunt.

Karen and Nick on Wildcat Peak with the grand Mt. Washington in the background

April pictures.

I finished my class. Lots of hard work but it paid off with a good grade!

Just got done with a nice vacation break that I took after my final exam. It was good to have some days off but it's back to the grind tomorrow. I went to Montreal (burrrrrrrrrr) for a couple of days and then spent some time down in the much warmer Hudson River Valley.

Changes are a coming. June is going to be busy time. Right now I'm enjoying my time in Boston because it will be coming to an end very soon. More details to come on that later.

Jen and Alex's little baby is due to arrive any day now in June (Nick's bro and sister-in-law). Very exciting times.

Karen, Amythest, and Angela in Vancouver

Wow, time is flying, I can't believe April is already half over. Anyway, vacation in Canada was awesome. I just finished with all of the pictures. You can look at them here. Can I just say the Whistler-Blackcomb ski resort is mind boggeling enormous, there are endless trails there. It's really quite stunning. The winter Olympics are going to be there next year, 2010.

I also got to visit Angela, Ivan and Amythest too, which was awesome. Angela was just a few weeks away from delivering baby number two, but looking amazing and moving around like she wasn't even pregnant. You go girl! Baby Olivia was born a little over a week ago. Congragulations to the Lee family!!

Life is good. I'm working hard and studying hard for my class. Only few more weeks left of class. I'm looking forward to a break from studying.

Friday 3.13.09

Ooooo, it's Friday the 13th.  Here's pictures from March.

I'm going to Vancouver (eh, Canada) tomorrow for vacation!  Yay, exciting!  I'll be visiting Angela and doing some skiing at Whistler.  It should be awesome!  Hope your March is going great!
